As an equal opportunity employer, Jetcrete offers a diverse range of apprenticeships in the mining industry. We provide excellent training and learning opportunities to many young and mature-age people, with many progressing to full-time roles.
Our apprentices are rotated through various mine sites, gaining valuable skills and experience working alongside mining professionals. We arrange off-the-job training of all apprentices via a registered training organisation (RTO). This training, combined with the skills gained on site, provides our apprentices with the knowledge needed to conduct servicing, repairs, overhaul and fault-finding in their specific trade.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, graduates receive a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification for their specific trade.
Desired attributes for apprentices:
- successful completion of Year 11
- strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- current C-class driver’s licence
- completion or partial completion of a pre-apprenticeship (highly advantageous but not essential).
Mature-age applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
