George Fisher Mine was established and officially opened in 2000.

Jetcrete was awarded the contract to fibrecrete and cable bolt. Jetcrete is responsible for supplying, delivering and applying fibrecrete. A team of service crew assist Jetcrete’ cable bolter with plate and tensioning.

Glencore has also awarded Jetcrete its sirovision contract. It is a process that utilises a stereo camera rig to map and analyse headings for the purpose of creating accurate, scaled 3D images of rock faces in its underground environment.

Jetcrete’s George Fisher Mine operations is the largest in the country, consisting of 60 Jetcrete personnel.
