In 1969, Survey and Mining Limited commenced the initial development of the first Capricorn Copper deposit. Since then, there has been multiple change in ownership. Capricorn Copper is currently owned by 29Metals.

Jetcrete Oz was awarded a contract to batch, deliver, and apply Fibrecrete underground in 2017.

Throughout the contract, Jetcrete has also occasionally supplied additional labour to undertake civil and construction projects for the site.
