October 2019 saw the first stage of Cadia Expansion Project to Execution phase approved. Jetcrete mobilised on site in early 2020 after being awarded the contract to apply fibrecrete and install cable bolts.

Cadia Valley Operations ground support regime is an intensive combination of cable bolting and fibrecreting. Jetcrete’s long-standing and proven relationship with Newcrest at Telfer minesite has been a catalyst in the contract award.

This operation is Jetcrete’s largest cable bolting contract. With 6 cable bolt operators in a shift and still growing, Jetcrete’s in-house training systems has and is still being used to close the skill shortage gap.
