Manager
Marcus Properzi
Marcus has over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry.
Before his appointment as General Manager in 2016, he held various roles within the Byrnecut Group, including as project engineer, project manager and operations manager.
His expertise covers all major hard rock commodities and mining methods across a wide variety of underground mining operations. He is passionate about improving mining through innovation and technology.

West
Scott Johnston
Scott has been involved with the mining industry for over 25 years and has been with Jetcrete since 2002.
He is responsible for the management of Jetcrete sites throughout Western Australia.
Scott has extensive project management experience in Australia and overseas. Projects have involved the manufacture, delivery and application of concrete and shotcrete or fibrecrete products for both lateral and vertical mining development, as well as for construction.

Paul Ferguson
Paul has been working in the concrete and mining industries for more than three decades.
Paul started with Jetcrete in 1999 as a supervisor and nozzleman before promotion to the role of Operations Manager East in 2000. Paul is responsible for managing Jetcrete sites across Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania.

Central
Lee Morcombe
Lee has over 17 years’ experience in mining and joined the group in 2005. Beginning his mining career in Western Australia, Lee has progressed through positions including site supervisor and project manager at various locations across Jetcrete’s west, central and eastern Australian Operations.
Lee’s current role of Operations Manager Central includes managing projects across South Australia and New South Wales.

Manager
Andrew Purchase
Andrew started with Jetcrete in 2009 as a maintenance manager before promotion to Asset Manager in 2011.
Andrew has worked in the mining maintenance and underground mining for almost three decades.
During his time in the industry, he has championed and implemented new plant within the group, and has assisted Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in design advances in equipment for safety and operation.
He is passionate about problem-solving, innovation and technology.
Technical
Manager
Kan Seah
Kan Seah started with Jetcrete in 2008 as quality assurance supervisor of eastern states before promotion to Technical Manager in 2013.
Kan Seah has been instrumental in developing and implementing Jetcrete quality standards, practices and technologies, improving the quality of shotcrete as a ground support element.
He continues to work to improve the characteristics and economics of fibrecrete for the mining industry through technology and best practice.

Manager
Matt White
Matt has over 40 years’ experience in the mining industry and holds a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Diploma in Business (Frontline Management) and a Diploma in Quality Auditing.
Commencing with the Byrnecut Group in 2004, Matt has worked in a variety of roles including maintenance, mining, OHS&T and auditing before stepping into current role as SEQ&T Manager at Jetcrete, overseeing the safety, environmental, quality and training aspects of the business.
