  • Global Tele Remote Shaft Lining Success

Jetcrete is the leader in remote shaft lining with three units in Australia, and further capacity in Indonesia and North America.

The company has more than nine years of success in applying shotcrete to support vertical shafts used for vent, escape ways and ore passes in the mining industry.

Experience and safety are paramount when using Jetcrete’s specialised equipment.

When Jetcrete designed the equipment to operate in areas between 1.5m to 9m in diameter and 500m in depth, it ensured a robust “user friendly system” to effectively promote production at the highest safety levels.

The shaftliner is lowered into normally raise bore shafts and the application of dry shotcrete is transported to the spray nozzle where it is mixed with water and sprayed onto the shaft wall via a 360 degree rotating nozzle.

Jetcrete shaft lining teams are highly experienced and trained to focus on smoother lining. They simultaneously maintain maximum adhesion and strengths for the lining to ensure profiling standsrds are met, as vent shafts are designed to maximise air flow.

Jetcrete has established shaft lining bases in Western Australia, Queensland and Canada to efficiently cater to all works in Australia and overseas.
